Mathare Roots Youth Group is a non-governmental,non-religious,and non-political,community based organization (CBO) consisting of young youths from Mathare slum Valley. Mathare Roots is instrumental in development and the well being of the Mathare Community through education in trainings and scholarships, information through awareness campaigns, nurturing of raw talent through sports and art, and encouraging the youth to be more conscious of their livelihood and how to improve their lives.roots
